Fees & Charges

Freshwater Day Surgery will run an eligibility check with your preferred health fund two working days prior to your surgery. We will inform you of any excess, out of pocket or co-payments that you will need to pay on the day of the procedure.

* This payment is what you have agreed to with your health fund; we have no control over these costs and whether they will arise.

Patients ​without Private Health Fund cover must pay the full theatre fees before the surgery and will receive no refund. We are unable to bulk bill. We are unable to publish lists of fees, but we can answer your questions by phone or in person.

Our preferred method of payment is by Eftpos. Please note: we do not accept Amex or Diners.

Veterans with a DVA Gold or White Card will be fully covered for the cost of all treatments, including the doctor’s fees and theatre fees.
