Dr Jenny Danks is a specialist Ophthalmologist with expertise in Oculoplastic Surgery, including eyelid, lacrimal and orbital surgery.

Dr Danks performs cataract surgery with a range of intra-ocular lens options. She offers eyelid procedures such as ptosis, entropion, ectropion and reconstructive surgery as well as tear duct surgery. Office based procedures and removal of small eyelid lesions can be performed on site at Northern Beaches Cataract.

She is a consultant at Royal North Shore and Northern Beaches Hospitals with private surgery performed at Delmar Hospital in Dee Why and Pittwater Day Surgery in Mona Vale.

After completing ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital, Dr Danks did two years of fellowship training in Oculoplastic Surgery at the Western, Bristol and Moorfields Eye Hospitals in the United Kingdom.

Dr Danks worked at Sydney Eye Hospital (SEH) for over 25 years, including serving as Head of Department for Oculoplastic Surgery. She has been involved in Registrar training including SEH Director of Training and NSW Chair of the Qualification and Education Committee of RANZCO.

She has been the President of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery (ANZSOPS), and is also a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS).
